David Beckham is to the face of mobile phone giant Vodafone for two year.

The midfielder, whose image has been used by Vodafone for the past two years, will play a "significant role" in a forthcoming advertising campaign.

The price or the contract is 2.5 $ ,Vodafone said his image would also be used in games and screen savers on the company's multi-media service Vodafone live!

Vodafone advertising campaigns featuring the England football star have been used in Britain, the US, Spain and Japan.
